2022: NL - spring catfish on fly

Toward the season closing the water dropped and got clear. I managed to squeeze one more session in before season ending. March 30, 2022 was not one with a lot of action. In the 6 hour session I got only two bites. Landed both. A nice pike and a monster fish...playing this fish I was thinking of a personal best pike but when it surfaced I was in for a big surprise as it turned out the be a catfish!!
